CatchoftheDay, Australia’s biggest online shopping site*, plans to capitalise on New Zealand’s taste for internet shopping, offering daily bargains on products ranging from tomato planters to LCD TV screens.

The website, which last year cleared more than one million dollars worth of stock in just one hour, is so popular with Australian shoppers that it now ranks ahead* of department stores Myer, Target, and Kmart with its unique one ‘deal’ per day business model.

What the Heck is Twitter?



Twitter is a fantastic tool to communicate personal and business messages to your audience. We haven't given much attention to social media on this blog as we pursue interesting topics for online retailers.

 Moving forward I hope to add this topic into the mix as I believe if utilised correctly, it can be a brilliant extension of a company's communication. Many people in business have heard of Twitter but still don't know what it is. This article briefly highlights what Twitter is, as well as a TED video presentation by Twitter's CEO which is well worth watching
